You can email yourself documents on your new Kindle fire. Just send them to the address associated with your new unit. Not sure what that is? Check it out by choosing Gear (top right) > More > Settings > My Account. There you’ll find your default email address.
To edit this address, visit amazon.com/myk. Sign in and choose Your Kindle Account > Personal Document Settings > Send to Kindle E-Mail Settings > Edit.
Enter the new email address you want to use to send documents to your Kindle and click Update. Amazon checks to make sure that address is unique and won’t conflict with existing ones, but otherwise allows you to choose any email you like.
